A luxury estate receives a Penchard solution…
Penchard was commissioned to manufacture and install nine sets of bespoke gates at a high-end country estate project in Dorset.
The estate has striking architecture that epitomises the rural high life, and the site’s owners/managers wanted gates and fencing that would guarantee security while offering privacy. All work had to complement the estate’s charm and appearance.
Given the prestige of the home and sprawling grounds, the challenge Penchard faced was to ensure every last detail of every single gate was as intended to meet the specifications and expectations of the client. Gates and fencing were required throughout the estate at the borders and entranceways, all in keeping with the estate’s grandeur and status.
Following discussions with the client, the design team and skilled craftspeople at Penchard set about creating the challenging nine gate sets and other requested products. This project consisted of the following:
- Hand-forged metal automated gates
- Hand-forged bespoke railings
- Automation of bespoke garage doors
- Manufacture and installation of bespoke oak gates
- Supply and installation of estate fencing
Using age-old techniques and devotion to their craft, the Penchard team hand-forged metal gates to the main courtyard and house. The curved metal railings were also forged by hand and followed the curvature of the estate’s fine walls to perfection.
Every gate was finished to an incredibly high standard and echoes the magnificence of the grounds it now resides within. The automated features of the electric gates will provide better perimeter control and will deter the potential of crime and vandalism.
